Union Chapel in the Grove is a seasonal community chapel that provides interfaith worship services on Sundays at 10:30 am from June 15 to August 31. All are welcome to the non-denominational services. There are no members; the services are organized by the Trustees and offer an inspiring variety of guest preachers and speakers and music by local musicians. All services are followed by an outdoor reception in the shady grove, catered by STARS. Some services will be outdoors as well.

The 150th anniversary book, “All Are Welcome: 150 Years of Shelter Island’s Union Chapel in the Grove, 1872-2022, chronicling the history of Union Chapel, with beautiful historic photos, is still available for purchase after the service or by contacting Trustee Kathy Dinkel.
